Step-by-Step Guideline for Instructors on DCH Academy Learning Platform
1. Sign Up as an Instructor Partner
Visit the DCH Academy website and navigate to the "Become an Instructor" section.
Complete the instructor application form with your personal and professional details.
Submit the application for review.
2. Create and Upload Prerecorded Courses
Course Creation:
- Plan your course content and structure.
- Record high-quality video materials for your course.
- Ensure your videos are clear, engaging, and educational.
Upload to YouTube:
- Create a YouTube account if you don't have one.
- Upload your course videos to YouTube and set them to "Unlisted."
- Copy the YouTube links for each video.
3. Quality Check by DCH Academy
Submit for Review:
- Share the YouTube links of your unlisted videos with DCH Academy by emailing them to the designated quality check email address.
- Include a brief description of each video and how it fits into the overall course structure.
Approval Process:
- DCH Academy will review your videos for quality, content accuracy, and educational value.
- You will receive feedback or approval within 7-10 business days.
- If any changes are required, revise the videos accordingly and resubmit for approval.
4. Course Creation and Upload on DCH Academy Platform
Access Course Creation Portal:
- Once your videos are approved, log in to your DCH Academy instructor account.
- Navigate to the course creation portal.
Upload Approved Videos:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your course outline.
- Embed the approved YouTube video links into the appropriate sections of the course.
Finalize Course Details:
- Add course descriptions, objectives, and any supplementary materials.
- Set the course price and availability.
5. Revenue Sharing
Revenue Distribution:
- Instructors receive 70% of the revenue generated from their courses.
- DCH Academy retains 30% for platform maintenance and support.
Payment Schedule:
- Payments are made monthly to the instructors' registered bank accounts.
- Ensure your payment details are up-to-date in your instructor profile.
Terms of Usage Policy for Instructors
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
- Instructors must be at least 18 years old.
- All personal and professional information provided during registration must be accurate and up-to-date.
- Instructors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
2. Content Creation and Quality Standards
- Courses must be original and created by the instructor.
- All video content must be clear, well-produced, and educational.
- Courses must not contain any inappropriate or offensive material.
3. Approval Process
- Instructors must submit unlisted YouTube videos for quality check before uploading to the DCH Academy platform.
- DCH Academy reserves the right to reject any course that does not meet quality standards or is deemed inappropriate.
4. Revenue Sharing and Payments
- Instructors receive 70% of the course revenue, while DCH Academy retains 30%.
- Payments are processed monthly and disbursed to the instructor's registered bank account.
- Instructors must ensure their payment information is accurate to avoid delays.
5. Course Maintenance and Updates
- Instructors are responsible for keeping their course content up-to-date.
- Any significant changes or updates to the course must be reviewed and approved by DCH Academy.
6. Intellectual Property
- Instructors retain the intellectual property rights to their course content.
- By uploading courses to DCH Academy, instructors grant the platform a non-exclusive license to host and distribute the content.
7. Termination and Suspension
- DCH Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate an instructor’s account for violations of the terms of usage policy.
- Instructors can terminate their partnership with DCH Academy by providing written notice.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from the instructor partnership shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where DCH Academy is headquartered.
By agreeing to these terms, instructors acknowledge and accept the guidelines and policies set forth by DCH Academy. This ensures a high-quality learning experience for all students and maintains the integrity of the DCH Academy platform.
